Handicraft Fair

The artisans of our area do their work using materials which are produced in our lands: wool, wood, clay, stones and leather. You will find natural leathery and a wide variety of applications. Also engravings in native wood, ceramic, vegetal fibres work, among others. The handicrafts come from different places, such as: Puyuhuapi, Puerto Cisnes, Puerto Aysén, Puerto Ibañez, Villa Ortega, Chile Chico, Lago Verde and Cochrane. A permanent center of expositions and sales is the “Handicraft Fair”, located in front of the square, where, on its picturesque buildings, you will find the most characteristic handicraft of the region and the special attention of our artisans. (Open everyday from 9 am to 8 pm)

Piedra del Indio (Indian’s Stone)

Through the west by the Simpson river, it is located la Piedra del Indio. It is a rocky formation due to the erosive elements, giving it the profile of a human.
